ISSUE 11: HAIKU is a collaboration between myself and Nathaniel Kasen. Nathaniel Kasen (they/them) is a poet who lives along the Mississippi River whose poetry has been published in Modern Haiku.
The photography featured is black and white film photography of the full moon on may 01, 2026 (flower moon). The photos were developed in the woods using foraged mushrooms and water from the Pine River in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. You can learn more about that process here and here.
